I'm a first-generation student, California native, and UC Santa Cruz alum, that continues to make strides in simplifying the way people utilize and interact with products through the use of interactive design and technology.
My design philosophy stresses the importance of simplicity, usability, and universal design.
I provide a unique direction on how to better understand users’ perceptions, motivations, and behaviors. I address complex design related issues through a unification of human psychology, technology, and business.
During my experience with PeggyJo, I applied my design philosophy, knowledge in artificial intelligence, and human-computer interaction to design an open-source application focused on building AI for mental well-being.
I earned my B.S. in Cognitive Science with an emphasis in Artificial Intelligence and Human-Computer Interaction from UC Santa Cruz.
